Holiday Trash Schedule:
Martin Luther King Day - No Change.
President's Day - No Change.
Memorial Day - All Trash will be collected one day behind schedule.
Fourth of July - No Trash collection on Thursday.  Thursday Trash will be collected Friday.
Labor Day - All Trash will be collected one day behind schedule.
Columbus Day - No Change.
Veteran's Day - No Change.
Thanksgiving - No Trash collection Thursday.  Thursday & Friday Trash will be collected on Friday.
Christmas - Trash collection Monday. No trash collection Tuesday.  The rest of the week all Trash will be collected one day behind.
New Years - Trash collection Monday. No trash collection Tuesday.  The rest of the week all Trash will be collected one day behind.
 
Residential Trash Collection:  Trash should be curbside by 7 AM the day of scheduled collection. The very earliest trash may be placed at the street is at dusk (or sunset) the day before.  Maximum weight is 60 pounds per container. Maximum capacity for trash cans/containers is 30 gallons.  Pursuant to State Storm water Management Regulations, debris may NOT be placed in the roadway or within 10 feet of storm drain outlets. 

Bulk trash such as mattresses, wood bed frames, furniture, rugs (tied and cut in 3' lengths) and similar items should be placed at the curb for collection on your regular trash day.  Residents should be reasonable in the amount of bulk items they place at the curb side on any one collection day.

BRUSH COLLECTION:
All brush 12" in diameter or less is to be cut in 5-6' lengths and neatly placed at the curb (not in the street) by 7am as follows:
DISTRICT 1:  First MONDAY for pick-up during that week.
DISTRICT 2:  Second MONDAY for pick-up during that week.
DISTRICT 3:  Third MONDAY for pick-up during that week.
DISTRICT 4:  Fourth MONDAY for pick-up during that week.

Appliances, Scrap Metal and Tires.  Residents must call 856-235-3520 to schedule a pick up.  Material must be curbside by 7 AM.  These items may also be brought to the Public Works Center, SATURDAY only, between 8 AM and Noon.  (A maximum of two (2) tires per household will be accepted on Saturday.)

Construction Debris: 
Small amounts of residential construction debris from minor projects will be collected.  Generally these projects produce less than 3' x 3' of waste.  Construction debris from larger projects will not be collected and is the resident's and/or contractor's responsibility for proper removal and disposal.  Residents may bring up to 3' x 3' of construction debris to the Public Works facility on Saturday mornings. Residents should contact Public Works for a permit to bring the debris on Saturday.  Concrete, concrete blocks or brick cannot be collected curbside - residents should take them to a private recycling center.

Hazardous Waste:  Public Works will not accept hazardous waste.  These materials may be disposed of through the Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex according to their prescribed schedule.  Please contact the County at 609-499-5317 for details.

Hydrant Flushing:  Public Works flushes fire hydrants twice a year - during April and October.  Some discoloration of water and lower pressure may occuring during this process.
