Town Council

Moorestown Township stands with the City of Atlanta as they mourn the tragic murder of eight residents, including six Asian women.

Last summer, hundreds of people gathered at the Moorestown Municipal Complex to take a stand against racially motivated hatred and violence. In the past year there has been an increase in anti-Asian violence that we all must take a stand against and condemn unequivocally and unapologetically. Moorestown is stronger because of our diversity and because of that diversity, we recognize that hatred and violence directed at any community does damage to us all.

We call on Moorestonians of all races to support to our Asian and AAPI friends and neighbors in this difficult time and renew our commitment to being an anti-racist community that welcomes and celebrates all.
