A Certificate of Occupancy or Certificate of Approval is issued to the owner upon completion of all inspections/priors. A copy may be requested.
To facilitate this change contact, Public Works at 856-235-3520, opt #2. The sanitary sewer system, water meter and sidewalks will need to be inspected before this change can occur. When selling or renting a property, you must also obtain a Certificate of Compliance from Moorestown Fire Prevention at https://www.bureauoffireprevention.com/certificate-of-smoke
A copy of the permit, which identifies the scope of work, is provided upon issuance. Ask your contractor to provide you the receipt documents and construction placard. The permit belongs to the owner. The placard must be displayed in a noticeable area to the Inspector.
