The fire district elections are scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 18. Information about voting, the 2023 budgets and applicable ballots can be found based on each district.
The fire district elections are scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 18. Information about voting, the 2023 budgets and applicable ballots can be found below based on each district.
Fire District 1
Voting for Fire District No. 1 will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Emergency Services Building located at 261 W. Main Street in Moorestown for the purpose of electing two individuals to membership for a three year term on the Board of Fire Commissioners of said District and to determine the amount of money to be appropriated and raised for Fire District purposes in the Fire District for the ensuing year.
The polls of said election will be open between the hours of 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM or as long thereafter as the Board may designate as necessary to poll the vote of the District.
The 2023 Budget for the Fire District which was adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of said Fire District at a regular meeting after public hearing held on January 3, 2023 is as follows:

The Board of Fire Commissioners, Moorestown Township Fire District No. 1, has also decided that there is a need for a small Rescue Boat in 2024. With an increase in water sports, such as kayaking and paddle boarding, on Strawbridge Lake the Fire District has taken the opinion that a small Rescue Boat is needed in the event of a water rescue emergency.
Money for the Rescue Boat will be taken out of the Fire District’s restricted funds allocated for capital purchases. No money will need to be borrowed to purchase the Rescue Boat; Moorestown Fire District No. 1 will remain without debt.

Voting for Fire District No. 2 will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Lenola Fire House located at 229 N. Lenola Road in Moorestown for the purpose of electing one individual to membership for a three year term on the Board of Fire Commissioners of said District and to determine the amount of money to be appropriated and raised for Fire District purposes in the Fire District for the ensuing year.
The 2023 Budget for the Fire District, which was adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of said Fire District at a regular meeting held on January 4, 2023 after all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard, is as follows:
