As a law enforcement employee, your fundamental duty is to serve the community; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the constitutional rights of all to liberty, equality and justice.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Moorestown Police Department shall be to enhance the quality of life in Moorestown Township by working in partnership with the community to enforce the law, preserve peace, reduce fear, and maintain order.  The Department is committed to accomplishing its mission to protect the lives and property of all residents and visitors by treating every person with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.  Furthermore, strive to enforce the laws impartially, fighting crime through cooperation with the community, deterrence, and the relentless pursuit of criminals.
